Ok so as many of you may have already heard is that "E3", shadow of its former self, has recently been held and the usual big three did their thing. In my opinion this was one of the most lackluster E3's to date. The problem here is that there wasn't enough innovation from the console giants as there used to be in the past. Granted all of the big guys just recently got their next gens out the door, but come on this is E3 don't show up to the thing without something amazing to show your customers, it's what is expected. I would say that only one company did a decent job this year and that would have to be sony. They showed the most next gen first and third party titles that would be coming out and did it with more style than its competitors. Some of the titles look amazing while others look like they could use some work.
Good news for all you lacking a PSP out there, the new PSP is 36% smaller boasting faster UMD access speeds and more efficient battery life, on top of which they are building a connectivity to stream video and audio to your HDTV. This feature seems to have no reasonable utility other than to maybe share pictures or movies when you're at somebodys house. In other words, there's nothing about the newest incarnation of the PSP that would have all the current PSP owners clamoring for the newest model.
LOTRO seems to be gaining a solid fan base but in all reality they are still a ways off from totally taking the mass of WOW players away from their online manifestations. I will consider playing this game, I mean come on its Lord of the Rings online, but I don't know if I will make a serious decision on the topic and in all likelihood the idea will fizzle out before I actually do anything.
For the smash bros. fans out there you will be please to know that Dec. 3 is when you once again own face with nintendo's most famous icons in a always fun royal rumble. The game seems to once again add just enough to the already tried and true formula to get me very interested in its outcome.
